David Dean Photographic Using our CRM

We are delighted that David has chosen us to help manage his clients using our CRM. David started off working part time on his photography business and as he built up a client base through charging lower prices, attending wedding fairs, starting social media pages and launching his website things began to grow. He also mentioned that word of mouth plays a big part too and as more and more people see the professional photos that he took, the enquiries continued. Another crucial part in his success, was getting help with his website, hosting and marketing. A new flashy website that was quicker, nicer looking and better optimised for Google was implemented. From there, he has worked with one SEO consultant for the past few years and that has seen the website propelled onto page one for key phrases such as wedding photography Essex and other related terms. The rankings are well cemented which provides David with a continual stream of enquiries about his wedding photography services.

This is now where we at TactileCRM come in. An easy to use platform that takes all the hassle out of managing clients. One portal, one place for all communications and actions for that client. Get in touch today to find out more.

What is 3D animation and how is it different from 2D?

Animation is about creating movement through simulation by generating a chain of drawings/pictures. Animation is typically called optical illusion as we are still able to see images/drawings moving. Due to the way the human eye works, we can only process so many images per second, therefore increasing the number of still images to 24 pictures per second – the images appear to be moving in a fluid motion and as such we view this as a moving picture – i.e. video. Motion picture or a video program is considered to be the most common way of presenting such an animation. There are however different forms of presenting animations and as such we will discuss the differences between 3D and 2D animations.

What is 3D Animation?

Is the process of generating many 3 dimensional moving images within a digital environment? Through careful manipulation of models and objects a three dimensional image can be created using software for exporting pictures sequences which gives them the illusion of movement or as we call it animation. This process of generating a 3 D image can be categorized into four main areas:

  • Modelling
  • Layout
  • Animation
  • Rendering

In the phase of modelling this is the procedure by which the 3 D objects are to be created within the scene. Layout describes the process that is to be followed for the animation and positions of the objects within the scene. Next is rendering which can be described as the output or end result of the completed computer graphics. This production process encompasses all the above steps to successfully create a 3 D animation. There are many different software programs out there which can be used in the creation of 3 D animation and these range from affordable low end versions all the way to the professional range.

Appearance of Depth: The Differences

This is probably the key difference that most of us notice and that is the depth. The biggest difference that we see is that depth gives 3D images the third dimension. 2D animations are just that, all the motion happens on the x and y axes. With 3D, this involves the third axis, z. 2D animation as it is known typically is just loads of images that are hand drawn but with subtle changes from image to image. These images displayed one after the other quickly, gives the illusion of a moving image but in two dimensions, x and y. With 3D animation Lebanon this involves that third axis and now different placement and poses can be created. You can also view from many different angles, which is generated through computer software.

Techniques Used To Create Animation

There are several difference techniques used to create 2D and 3D animations. Techniques involved in 2D production include Anime, twining, rotoscopy, onion skimming and morphing. 3D animation includes techniques such as arena building, appearance sketching, appearance modelling, camera setup, abating, texturing, bond, alteration and rendering.

Time To Create 2D and 3D Animations

This entirely depends on the assignment. There are some that can be created quickly, however, there are others that can take weeks. Time will depend on a number of factor, typically what requests the client is making. Obviously, creating a 3D animation will take longer than that of 2D

Things You Should Consider When Buying A Domain Name

When it comes to the domain name for your site, you’ll naturally want to ensure that you’ve chosen the best possible name for your website. However, there are certain things about your domain name that you should consider before you buy it, and we’re going to be looking at a few of them here.

Is Your Name Short And Sweet?

One of the things that your domain name should be before you buy it is short, sweet, and straight to the point. Google, Facebook, Twitter. They’re all one-word domain names, and they’re all hugely successful enterprises. A longer name is harder to remember, and is also more likely to be incorrectly inputted into a URL bar or search bar and will thus take people away from your site.

Consider A Different Top Level Domain

When it comes to your domain name, you want it to be readily available for the general public. However, there are millions of sites which end in ‘.com’, and ‘.co.uk’. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one which is unique and ends in those top-level domains. To counteract this, it is sometimes worth using alternative domains like .global, or .nyc, to ensure you keep your second level domain exciting and fresh but also become a little more unique on the web.

If It’s A Tricky Spelling, Buy Both

People can and will come up with some bizarre names for their sites. And if they are cursed with a tricky spelling, it is not uncommon for people to get two letters mixed up and then not arrive at your site at all. This can be incredibly frustrating for people who are trying to get more traffic on their site, so why not buy both spellings? Things which have an ‘ie’ in them are common culprits, with some people inputting ‘ei’. If you own both domain names, then people will reach your site either way, and you won’t miss a single chance for customer interest.

When In Doubt, Go Big

Sometimes, throwing around a little bit of cash will go a long way and often pay for itself. People will spend larger amounts of money from premium domain names because they’ll attract more attention and will often carry the famous ‘.com’ in them. It is well worth spending a little more if you have domain which will attract the most attention if it is a ‘.com’, as those with a service or goods will find that the site pays back the money quite quickly regarding attention and customers.

Overall, these are just a few of the things that you should consider when it comes to getting a domain name for your website. There’s nothing wrong with taking your time to make sure that your domain name is short, noticeable and very likely to draw attention to you and your business. Spending a little more money to buy two sets of a domain name or a premium domain is also recommended for those who plan to go big, as you’ll soon make it back if your service and site is at the ‘top level’.
